You're here to build what's next, on a team that outperforms every norm.Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Infrastructure & Capital ProjectsTHE WORK:You'll analyze invitation-to-bid (ITB) documents, including construction drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents to determine the electrical requirements for data center and other complex projects.You'll perform detailed quantity take-offs (QTOs) using digital take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, Accubid, LiveCount).You'll prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other direct costs.You'll solicit, analyze, and level vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure completeness and competitiveness.You'll develop detailed basis of estimate (BOE) documentation, outlining assumptions, inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications.You'll collaborate with the operations and pre-construction team to develop value-engineering ideas and constructability reviews.You'll participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings (virtually) with clients, engineers, and general contractors.You'll utilize estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst, McCormick) to build and format professional proposals.You'll maintain current knowledge of electrical codes, industry standards, material pricing, and labor rates.You'll manage multiple estimates simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.$110,000 - $160,000 a yearCompensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio or Washington as set forth below.We accept applications on an on-going basis and there is no fixed deadline to apply.QualificationHERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:Minimum of 8+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction industryAt least 1 or 2 years of experience with Data Centers construction projectsProven experience estimating large-scale commercial or industrial electrical projects. Direct experience with data center projects is requiredProficiency with electrical estimating software (e.g., Accubid, ConEst) and digital take-off tools (e.g., Bluebeam Revu)BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including but not limited to: primary and secondary power distribution, emergency/back-up power systems (generators, UPS, ATS), branch power, lighting, fire alarm, and groundingExceptional analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detailAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFPs independentlyLocations
