Senior Financial Analyst

$110K-$125K base + bonus up to 25%Our client, a $75M bath furniture and fixtures company, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) to join its finance team in the Greater San Fernando Valley area. Backed by private equity and entering an important phase of growth, the company is continuing to invest in its financial infrastructure, reporting capabilities. , and operational visibility. This role offers strong exposure and influence within a business that is still evolving and building greater financial sophistication.Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this role is best suited for someone with FP&A experience in consumer products, e-commerce, and retail environments involving complex inventory and SKU structures, and who enjoys digging beneath the numbers to understand the drivers of business performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership to help improve visibility into profitability, forecasting, pricing, and operational trends across the business.This role will have broad exposure to product and channel performance, customer profitability, KPI reporting, forecasting, cash flow, and executive-level reporting. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, commercially minded, and motivated by the opportunity to help build reporting, uncover insights, and influence decision-making within a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment.What You’ll DoTake ownership of the monthly and quarterly reporting process, including preparation and maintenance of financial reporting packages.Perform detailed variance analysis across revenue, margin, inventory, customer, channel, and SKU-level performance, translating findings into meaningful business insight.Partner closely with the VP of Finance to support forecasting, budgeting, cash flow reporting, KPI visibility, board-level reporting, and broader FP&A processes.Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and other departments to understand business drivers, investigate performance trends, and help translate financial data into actionable business insight.Collaborate closely with the company’s BI resource to validate reporting accuracy and support the development of reporting tools, dashboards, and operational visibility.Help build and improve reporting and analytical capabilities across the business, including customer profitability analysis, channel contribution reporting, and operational KPIs.What You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.Experience within consumer products, retail, e-commerce with dynamic high-volume SKU environments.Strong financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis capabilities.Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working with large data sets.Strong intellectual curiosity and comfort working cross-functionally to understand business drivers, challenge assumptions, and support decision-making.Experience supporting recurring FP&A cadences, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow visibility, and KPI reporting.Exposure to Power BI and ERP systems is highly preferred.Willingness to work on-site in the Greater San Fernando Valley area on a hybrid schedule.Our client offers a base salary of $110K- $125K, plus a performance-based bonus of up to 25% of base salary, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and paid holidays.
