Job Title: DevOps Engineer with JavaLocation: Dallas, TX / Basking Ridge, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite)Job SummaryIncedo is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with Java experience to support the development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, cloud technologies, containerization, Kafka-based application monitoring, and Java-based applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java-based applicationsCollaborate with development teams to automate build, test, and deployment processesSupport Java/Spring Boot microservices running in cloud environmentsManage and optimize containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShiftDeploy and maintain applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP platformsMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availabilityImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormationConfigure and manage Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, and other DevOps toolsSupport logging, monitoring, and observability using tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or DynatraceMonitor Kafka clusters, topics, consumer groups, and application performance metricsDevelop and maintain OpenShift YAML configurations for deployments, services, routes, and application scalingCreate and maintain Grafana dashboards for file-processing monitoring and operational metricsSupport regression testing and validation for applications processing CSV, JSON, and XML filesWork with Kafka-integrated applications and validate end-to-end data flow, messaging, and architectureCollaborate with business and technical teams to support Telecom domain applications and workflowsWork closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environmentRequired Skills7+ years of overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in DevOpsStrong experience with Java and Spring Boot applicationsHands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestrationStrong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormationFamiliarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scriptingExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Grafana, ELK, or PrometheusStrong understanding of Microservices architecture and REST APIsHands-on experience with Kafka metrics monitoring, Kafka ecosystem components, and event-driven architecturesExperience creating and managing OpenShift YAML files for application deployments and configurationsExperience building Grafana dashboards and monitoring file-processing workflowsStrong knowledge of regression testing for CSV, JSON, and XML file-processing applicationsExperience validating Kafka-integrated application flows, messaging architecture, and end-to-end data processingTelecom domain knowledge with understanding of telecom systems and architectureStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with Telecom domain projectsKnowledge of Ansible and configuration management toolsExperience with Kafka administration, monitoring, and troubleshootingExperience with security and DevSecOps practicesFamiliarity with Python scripting is a plusExposure to enterprise-scale event-driven and distributed architecturesEducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.KeywordsJava, Spring Boot, DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenShift YAML, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, Maven, Git, Linux, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, Kafka Monitoring, File Processing, CSV, JSON, XML, Regression Testing, Telecom Domain, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture.
