The Client does not ship equipment.JOB SUMMARYUnder broad supervision, performs complex administrative duties and statistical, financial, or operational data analysis and reporting in support of management decision making in the functional area. Identifies trends, discrepancies, and variances to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. May partner with other departments, divisions, outside agencies, and vendors to address business issues. Exercises various latitudes of independent judgment. May administer or provide high-level support for various projects, grants, contracts, implementation of procedures, and/or any specialized functions. Assists with orientation, training, or providing task guidance of junior team members. Provides strategic analysis.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform job responsibilities with minimal supervisionExtract primary data from Oracle Database with the use of SQLInterpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reportsProvide timely and accurate data to fulfill internal and external data requestsIdentify, compile, and ‘clean’ data for research projectsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsOversee evaluation and research projectsCommunicate the evaluation plan and its details to leadership and stakeholdersCollaborate with external research partners to ensure understanding of data points and data setsDevelop and monitor internal and external data requestsManage, summarize, and analyze quantitative and/or qualitative dataSummarize and explain research findings and their implicationsPrepare findings for publicationDevelop, review, and abstract published researchProduce data visualization dashboards with TableauMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years in a related lead or supervisory role OR Associate's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of related experience, Two years of which in a related lead or supervisory role OR Two years of experience at the lower level IT Business Analyst or position equivalent.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of knowledge and experience with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc)5+ years of experience in accessing and extracting data from organizational and/or other institutional databasesStrong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy2+ years of relevant work experience in the Criminal Justice field and/or Data Management/AnalysisProficient skills in queries, report writing, and presenting findingsExperience in data visualization software (i.e., Tableau)Required/Desired Skills Skill Required/Desired Amount of Experience 5+ years of knowledge and experience with databases (SQL, Oracle, etc) Required 5.0 Years 5+ years of experience in accessing and extracting data from organizational and/or other institutional databases Required 5.0 Years Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail a Required 1.0 Years 2+ years of relevant work experience in the Criminal Justice field and/or Data Management/Analysis Highly desired 2.0 Years Proficient skills in queries, report writing, and presenting findings Required 3.0 Years Experience in data visualization software (i.e., Tableau) Highly desired 1.0 Years
