You will support this role 100% on site.Key ResponsibilitiesWork to product drawings, tool drawings and sketches to plan and make a variety of tools and gauges of semi-complex design and constructionUse CNC or manual machinery (mills, lathes, grinders, EDM) to make, modify and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures and gauges of a semi-complex design and construction involving interrelated dimensions and surfaces to close tolerancesManufacture fairly complex parts per drawingWork to product drawings, tool drawings and sketches to plan and make a variety of tools and gauges of semi-complex design and constructionWork with engineers and other Tool Makers to troubleshoot and correct problems with tooling to ensure production is runningChange out tooling for different fuel contracts when requested by other areasPerform traceability functionQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Associate's degree or equivalent; degree in Machine Tool Technology2 years' experience with associate's degree5 years' experience without a degreeKnowledge of G and M Codes, AutoCAD, Esprit and Solid WorksMachining experience with manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, Jig grindersWe are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
