This individual will play a critical role in leading the accounting team, taking full responsibility of the month-end close process, and be involved with cost accounting and operational finance. Their ideal candidate must have manufacturing industry experience and management experience.Perks:High visibility positionBonus Package15 Days PTOStrong Benefits PackageCasual Work EnvironmentResponsibilities:Own the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong internal controlsOversee preparation and review of financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting packagesLead and develop the Finance & Accounting team and provide structure for AP/AR functionsEnhance accounting processes, reporting cadence, and internal controls to support a scalable finance functionDeliver routine and ad hoc financial analysis, identifying business challenges and recommending actionable solutionsStrengthen standard costing processes and improve cost accounting visibility across the organizationAnalyze manufacturing variances and partner with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and drive improvementsCollaborate with operations and leadership to improve financial visibility within the ERP systemSupport pricing analysis and margin reporting across product lines and customersAct as a strategic finance partner to the General Manager, providing insights to support decision-makingDrive working capital improvements across inventory, receivables, and payablesParticipate in ROI analysis and financial evaluation of capital investment projectsSupport continuous improvement initiatives across finance and operationsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related degreeManufacturing experience is required.CPA license is highly desired.Knowledge of major accounting software packages for general ledger accountingThorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, business leaders, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and resultsEmail your word document resume to Hayley.h@conexusrecruiting.com and reference the subject as Controller
