We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world's toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe, or helping find cures for cancer.Location/Division Specific Information:Millersburg, PA Single-Use manufacturing locations.How Will You Make an Impact?Work with a team in a fast-paced environment assembling product.A Day in the Life:Manually assemble tubing and connectors to be used in the medical industryRead manufacturing drawings and follow standard proceduresManufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprintRecord and complete accurate documentation according to GMP requirementsDrive safety culture and quality in all activitiesResponsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise to leadership when appropriateParticipate in the Lean PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture through Tier boards, GEMBA, JDI, RCCM, and/or Kaizen eventsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:Required: No previous work experience requiredKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Follow all safety protocolsDrive quality in all activitiesStand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, graspingUse hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pullingInfrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassistedPhysical Requirements / Work Environment:Ability to work in a fast paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additional overtime as the need arises for production schedule adherenceThe Clean-room is controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise.Specific gowning is required including: gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry, and the like.Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygieneWhat We Offer:Compensation:Competitive Hourly Pay RateAdditional shift differential for 2nd shift and 3rd shift positionsAnnual performance-based bonusAnnual merit performance-based increaseExcellent Benefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision benefits-effective Day 1Paid Time Off & Designated Paid HolidaysRetirement Savings PlanTuition ReimbursementEmployee Referral BonusCareer Advancement Opportunities
