The role of the Floor Coating Technician is to work on and supervise assigned projects with a focus on safety, quality, and production. Primary duties include but not limited to: Diamond grinding using 480-volt 3-phase floor grinders/polishers Honing and polishing of concrete using floor grinders/polishers Grinding, honing, and polishing concrete using 4” & 7” hand grinders Application of two-part polyurea joint/crack fill Use of two-part polyurea pump Shot blasting Line Striping epoxy Epoxy coating application Cementitious overlay application Urethane cement coating application Some of the benefits of a career with Painters USA Inc. Knowledge of floor grinding equipment, shot blasters, and sand blasting Knowledge of Commercial and Industrial coating products Basic understanding of information technology (smartphones, tablets, and spreadsheets) Available to work different shifts and weekends Willing to submit to drug screen and background check Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20-50 pounds at times. High physical activity including but not limited to reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, sitting, kneeling, crawling, pushing and pulling. We are an equal opportunity employer.
