Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

Only select, high-signal candidates are invited to Jobright TNT and recommended directly to hiring teamsHiring Company: FairOne-liner: Fair is an AI-powered vehicle protection company building the infrastructure for smarter, faster, and more reliable car warranty sales and service.Salary: $100K/yr - $200K/yrWhy Join Us:Role Responsibilities• Designing and shipping core backend services across pricing, payment-adjacent workflows, accounting, reconciliation, and partner integrations• Hardening our B2B API platform, including REST, GraphQL, idempotency, versioning, webhook signing and replay, sandbox/production separation, rate limiting, and abuse protection• Owning API contract design with OpenAPI, codegen, code-first GraphQL schemas, and reliable error contracts• Building strong observability through instrumentation, alerts, dashboards, and runbooks• Raising the quality bar through test coverage and CI gates that give real confidence before release• Handling sensitive data properly, including security, privacy, SOC 2, access controls, and audit logging• Improving how the team works through better scoping, clearer estimates, and cleaner release processesQualificationsRequired• 4+ years of experience building and operating production backend services• Strong Node.js and TypeScript experience across APIs and backend business logic• Experience designing and maintaining external-facing APIs with backward compatibility and reliable documentation• Strong understanding of API fundamentals, including API keys, OAuth, idempotency, pagination, rate limiting, webhooks, and event delivery• Solid relational database fundamentals with MySQL or Postgres• Experience improving system quality through testing and CI• Ability to break work into shippable pieces, write clear technical tickets, and give realistic estimatesPreferred• Fintech, payments, or insurtech experience• Experience building public B2B APIs with high expectations around versioning, docs, and SDKs• Security and compliance experience, including SOC 2, audit logging, secrets management, and least-privilege designHow can I join Jobright TNT:If this is your first time applying to a Jobright TNT role, the process works as follows:1.
