This role entails collaborative patient care and psychiatric management.About the Opportunity: Hybrid or Remote: Not applicableShift: Day shiftSchedule: Monday - Friday, with one weekend per monthHours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSetting: Inpatient Behavioral HealthResponsibilities: The Psychiatrist (Physician) will be responsible for: Evaluating, diagnosing, managing, and discharging psychiatric inpatientsProviding care for patients with complex psychiatric conditionsConducting psychiatric assessments and medication managementCollaborating with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and treatment teamsParticipating in treatment planning and discharge coordinationQualifications:Board Certified or Board Eligible in PsychiatryActive New Jersey Medical LicenseExperience in inpatient psychiatryProficiency in psychiatric evaluations and medication managementStrong collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication skillsTeam-oriented attitudeAdaptability in a multidisciplinary environmentDesired Skills:Experience in complex behavioral health management preferredActive New Jersey Medical LicenseComfortable supervising APPsProficiency in EMR systemsStrong organizational skills
