Customer Operations Representative

Job DescriptionDescription:Carolina Precision Technologies (CPT) is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Putnam, CT location. In this role you would be a key contact with customers during the quoting and production process. You would be responsible for upkeeping necessary documentation in these processes, as well as providing other administrative support. We are a market leading manufacturer of implants, specialty surgical instruments, cutting tools, and delivery systems for the orthopedic, sports medicine, trauma, extremities and other MedSurg applications.Duties And Responsibilities Point of contact for all customers of the Putnam, CT facility. Initiate quote process and enter quotes into ERP system. Coordinate/Request customer requirements in the quoting process. Provide order status updates to customers. Work within customer portals to extract and input information. Communicate customer needs to management. Create and organize documentation needed in the preproduction process (e.g. Prints, Inspection Reports, Certifications etc.) Fulfil general administrative and clerical duties (answer phone/direct calls, photocopy, scan, fax, mail, email etc.) Support upper management with additional assigned duties as needed. Support employees with changes to documents. Meet productivity standards, complete work in a timely manner. Required Experience And Skills 2+ years administrative experience. 1+ years customer service experience. Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Self-motivated leader. Proficient with general computer software (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) Experience using an ERP system a plus. Any blueprint reading abilities are a plus. Experience in a Manufacturing environment specifically medical and aerospace industries. Other Qualifications High School Graduate or Equivalent. Proficiency in general math. Available to work extra hours as needed. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. #ZRRequirements:
