The role includes palliative care and family education regarding oncological processes. Urology and telemetry patients are also included in this specialty. The nurse will work a night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. Every other weekend is required. The nurse may be floated to like units to meet facility needs. Patient ratios are typically 5-6 patients per nurse at night. Experience in chemotherapy administration is preferred. The facility has a diverse patient demographic in a 29-bed unit. The registered nurse will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions and administering medications. A strong emphasis will be placed on engaging in interdisciplinary support and care. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
