Sales Engineer (RF / Telemetry – Aerospace & Defense)Locations: TexasTravel: 60–70%Our client is seeking a technically strong, customer-facing Sales Engineer with a background in RF and telemetry systems within the aerospace and defense industry. This is a hybrid technical sales role focused on building relationships, delivering product presentations, and supporting mission-critical communication and test systems used by military and aerospace customers.This role is ideal for an Electrical Engineer who understands telemetry and RF systems in real-world defense applications and enjoys translating that expertise into customer solutions—not a traditional high-volume commercial wireless sales role.What You’ll DoPromote RF, telemetry, and aerospace communication products to government, military, and defense contractors.Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts across your territory.Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution-based discussions to engineering and procurement teams.Partner closely with a teammate Sales Engineer to drive territory success (team-based commission structure).Identify customer needs and align them with specialized product offerings.Travel extensively (60–70%) to customer sites, test ranges, and industry events.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).Hands-on experience with RF and telemetry systems, ideally in aerospace, military, or defense environments.2+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, or customer-facing technical roles.Strong presentation and communication skills, ability to explain complex systems clearly.Familiarity with defense contractors, military programs, or aerospace testing environments.Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a field-based role.U.S. Citizenship required.What Sets This Role ApartFocus on highly specialized telemetry and RF systems—not commercial wireless or telecom sales.Team-based commission structure that rewards collaboration.Opportunity to work with cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies.Full product training provided.Paid travel expenses and mobile tools to support field work.CompensationCompensation: Base $110,000 OTE: $120,000, 2nd Year $150k OTE
