The Director of Campus Dining provides strategic oversight of contracted dining services, serving as the primary liaison with the vendor to ensure high-quality operations, strong financial performance, and an exceptional customer experience for students, faculty, staff and guests.Position Details:Salary: From $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per yearFLSA Status: Exempt Schedule: Full-timeBenefits:NYSHIP Health InsuranceDental and Vision InsurancePaid vacation, sick, holiday, and personal time403(b), plus 10% employer contribution after 1 yearTuition reimbursementEmployee discount programEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent of education and experience.5+ years of dining contract execution or business development experienceExperience in higher education environmentProven record in managing third-party service providers and holding vendors accountable to performance standardsExcellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skillsStrong financial acumen, including reviewing P&L statements, budgets, and contract financial modelsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with food service contractsKnowledge of RFP processes and procurement policiesKey Responsibilities:Manage vendor relationships; ensure contract compliance, service quality and operational excellenceLead performance reviews, audits, contract renewals, and RFP processesOversee financial performance, including budgets, P&L and revenue optimizationDevelop and implement campus dining strategy to enhance satisfaction and engagementCollaborate with campus stakeholders and student groups to improve dining servicesDrive innovation in dining, including sustainability, technology, and new conceptsSupervise Sustainability Coordinator, align sustainability initiatives with dining-related capital projects and campus initiatives.*ASA is an employer and educator recognized for valuing AA/EEO and Protected Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities.No relocation or VISA Sponsorship is available.ASA may make reasonable accommodations to enable applicants to participate in the hiring process and employees to perform their essential functions.
