The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams (FW, SW, modem, and labs) to ensure robust cellular performance and compliance. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform end-to-end device validation for cellular technologies including LTE, 5G (SA/NSA) featuresExecute and analyze lab and field testing across multiple carriers and network conditionsConduct protocol-level debugging using logs (QXDM, MBIM traces, modem logs, etc.)Identify, isolate, and root-cause cellular connectivity issues (attach, call drops, data failures, standby behavior)Work with internal teams and vendors to triage bugs and drive issues to closureSupport regression validation and sanity verification.Generate test reports, defect summaries, and RCA documentationContribute to improving test coverage, automation, and validation frameworks Required Skills & ExperienceCore Technical SkillsStrong protocol knowledge (3GPP – LTE/5G signaling, NAS/RRC basics, IMS/SIP flows)Device testing experience (smartphones, modems, or embedded systems)Hands-on experience with cellular test equipment (e.g., call boxes like Anritsu, Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz)Experience in log analysis and debugging tools (e.g., QXDM, modem logs, trace analysis)Good understanding of cellular call flows, attach procedures, and data connectivityWorking knowledge of scripting (Python / PowerShell / Bash) for test automation, log parsing, or workflow efficiency
