In this role, you will facilitate clear and accurate communication between healthcare providers and Spanish-speaking patients.🔹 Key ResponsibilitiesInterpretationAccurately interpret medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and other information between patients and healthcare providers (doctors, nurses, etc.)Cultural MediationHelp patients understand the healthcare system and navigate it effectivelyAssist healthcare providers in understanding cultural differences that may impact patient careConfidentialityMaintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standardsDocumentationRecord interpretation sessions, including date, time, duration, and type of serviceProfessional DevelopmentStay updated with medical terminology and healthcare practices✅ Requirements● Fluency in Spanish and English● Experience in medical interpretation or translation● Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare systems● Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity● Ability to perform well under pressure💻 Technical Requirements● Minimum 15 Mbps internet speed (download & upload)● USB headset (mandatory)● PC/Laptop: 5th Gen processor or higher, 8GB RAM minimum● LAN (Ethernet) connection● HD Webcam⏰ Work Schedule & Compensation● Hourly-based program (EST Time Zone)● Pay Rate: $5 USD per hour● Monthly payments via Payoneer📌 Terms & Conditions● Independent Contractor position● Remote work (phone & video interpretation)● Mandatory training starting May 2026● Attendance and QA bonuses available● Final assessment conducted via LanguageStat● Portal access provided upon successful assessment● IT training and platform guidance included● No leave allowed during the first month (except emergencies with prior approval)🚀 Next StepsIf selected, you will be enrolled in a training program and guided through onboarding to begin taking live interpretation calls.
