The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the Board in all aspects of organizational governance, including setting and promoting the mission, ensuring financial health, and leading strategic planning. This role requires a time commitment of approximately 10 hours per month and involves leading Board meetings, setting clear agendas, and making sure the Board fulfills its legal and financial obligations. The Board President will also play a key role in fundraising and advocacy, supporting the Artistic Director as a spokesperson, and helping to connect with donors, sponsors, and partners. The ideal candidate for the Board President position at the company will have a deep passion for flamenco and a strong commitment to the growth of the art form and its community. Leadership experience, particularly in a nonprofit or cultural setting, is essential, as is the ability to provide strategic, financial, and legal oversight. The role demands a candidate with excellent communication skills, the ability to convey complex ideas clearly, and a talent for problem-solving and balancing artistic goals with financial resources.
