About the CompanyWe are seeking an Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day execution across a growing landscaping business in the Atlanta market. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for aligning crews, schedules, and resources to deliver consistent, high-quality work.About the RoleThis is not a desk role. You’ll be in the field, solving problems in real time, driving accountability, and ensuring jobs are completed on time and to standard. The business has strong demand—what’s needed now is operational discipline, structure, and leadership.ResponsibilitiesOperational Execution Own daily operations across crews, scheduling, and job executionEnsure all jobs are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standardsIdentify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implement practical solutionsCoordinate labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivityScheduling & Resource Management Build and manage daily/weekly schedules across multiple crewsEnsure proper crew allocation based on job requirements and timelinesManage equipment usage, maintenance needs, and downtimeTeam Leadership & Accountability Lead, coach, and hold crew leaders accountable for performanceSet clear expectations for output, quality, and behaviorAddress performance issues directly and drive improvementReinforce a culture of ownership, urgency, and consistencyCustomer & Job Oversight Act as point of escalation for job-related issues or customer concernsConduct site visits to ensure quality control and customer satisfactionEnsure clear communication between office, crews, and clientsPerformance & Continuous Improvement Track key metrics including job completion rates, productivity, and reworkDrive improvements in efficiency, quality, and crew performanceImplement basic systems and processes to improve visibility and control Qualificationsa5+ years in leadership or management roles with direct responsibility for teams and outcomesProven ability to drive accountability and performance in fast-paced environmentsLandscaping or industry experience not requiredMilitary leadership experience strongly preferredStrong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsComfortable leading from the front in a hands-on, field-driven roleClear communicator with the ability to align teams and drive execution Pay range and compensation package$90,000 base salaryPerformance-based bonus tied to operational metricsOpportunity to grow into a senior leadership role as the company scales Equal Opportunity StatementIf you’ve led teams, enforced standards, and driven results—industry can be taught.
