Job Title: Project Manager - Construction Materials TestingLocation: South Bend, INEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-TimeJob Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager specializing in Construction Materials Testing to join our team in South Bend, IN. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various construction materials testing projects, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:Manage and lead construction materials testing projects from inception to completion.Develop project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.Coordinate and supervise the work of testing technicians and engineers.Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Conduct field inspections and materials testing for soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.Prepare and review reports, test results, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.Maintain and foster client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations throughout all project phases.Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and local building codes and regulations.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction materials testing or related field.Strong knowledge of construction materials testing procedures, standards, and equipment.Proven experience in project management and team leadership.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.Skills:Project management and leadershipConstruction materials testing expertiseStrong analytical and technical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRisk management and problem-solvingTime management and multitasking abilitiesClient relationship managementProficiency in relevant software applicationsBenefits:Competitive salary and performance-based bonusesHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement savings plan with company matchProfessional development opportunitiesPaid time off and holidaysApplication Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and cover letter detailing their qualifications and experience.
