Join our team of strategic advisers and architects, differentiated by our industry depth to collaborate with leading solution providers and leverage your experience in strategy, process design, technology enablement, and operational services to enable heart-of-the-business solutions.Work You'll DoAs a US Delivery Center Solution Specialist on the team, you will:Support the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Extend applications and enhancements that run natively on the Workday platform.Collaborate with functional leads, technical teams, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday Extend solutions.Build and support Extend-based solutions that enhance Workday Financials capabilities and automate manual, offline, or third-party processes within Workday.Participate in requirements analysis, solution design sessions, prototyping, configuration, testing, and release activities.Troubleshoot application, configuration, and data issues; identify root causes and implement fixes to improve usability, performance, and quality.Support unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment validation activities.Document business requirements, solution design decisions, test scenarios, defects, and resolutions to support repeatable delivery and knowledge sharing.The TeamDeloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes - is designed for impact. USDC professionals work out of one of our specific delivery center locations, and each location presents dynamic career opportunities for professionals to focus on their work with nominal travel requirements.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degreeMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureAbility to obtain and maintain required Workday certifications2+ years of experience with Workday Extend2+ years of experience supporting the design, build, testing, or deployment of Workday solutions2+ years of experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solution designs within WorkdayDelivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg)Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project locationTravel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposesRelocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distancePreferred:Experience building solutions that extend Workday functionality for Finance, HCM, or Supply Chain use casesExperience automating manual or offline business processes within the Workday platformExperience working with Workday data, security concepts, and native user experience considerationsWorkday Pro Extend Services CertificationExperience supporting Workday Financials, Business Assets, or ProjectsFamiliarity with integrations, reporting, or data validation activities within Workday deploymentsSQL basics for data analysis, validation, or troubleshootingExperience in ERP transformation, enterprise application deployment, or post-go-live support
