Small Engine Mechanic

Small Engine Mechanic We are looking for a mechanic that knows how to work on pressure washer equipment. They need to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial pressure washing equipment, electrical, mechanical and small engine equipment including gas and diesel plus electric motors of all voltages. The ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment with accuracy and speed, create effective working relationships with employees to communicate both verbally and in writing is essential. Must be experienced with various shop tools including welders, cutting torches, grinders and have skills in fabrication. Responsibilities: Maintain and repair equipment in field as needed Responsible for organizing and maintaining shop area. Safely assist with loading and unloading of equipment as needed Maintain accurate records Supply part description and numbers for ordering of all parts. Requirements: Any experience or have an equivalent combination of education and experience is a plus. High School Diploma or equivalent Must have clean driving history and valid CA drivers license Must be a self-starter and have stable work history Must be familiar with the safe operation of all equipment and be able to instruct others on the use of the equipment. A working knowledge of safety practices and procedures while making mechanical repairs is essential.
