Fleet Mechanic

Job Description We are looking for a Fleet Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles, small equipment, and transmission systems.Responsibilities:Repair and service all vehicles - diesel and gasRepair and service small equipment (2 stroke string trimmers/chainsaws) as well as mowers and other power equipment including pressure washers, riding mowers, trenchers, etc.Maintain all equipment in fully functional condition and document all service records and work completed on a daily basisResponsible for the organization and general cleanliness of yard facility with the assistance of the yard helperPerform routine vehicle maintenanceUse diagnostic tools to test vehicle componentsPerform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customerQualifications:Experience with fleet management - oil changes, filter changes, tire rotation and replacement, brake systems, and documentation of work done to each vehicleDriver's license to pick up and order parts as necessaryFamiliar with a broad range of mechanics from 12V electrical, hydraulic lines and cylinders, engines from small 2 stroke to large Cummins dieselsBilingual Spanish and English preferredKnowledge of shop equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsDeadline and detail-orientedAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environmentCompany DescriptionWith more than 40 years of Southern California experience, Proscape is a professional landscape company that takes a personal and pro-active approach to customer service.We are proud of our ability to serve clients with a professional, friendly and prompt approach that has enabled us to flourish in the highly competitive landscaping industry.Our full range of services includes Landscape Construction, Landscape Maintenance and Water Conservation.
