Network Security Analyst

Title: Network Security AnalystWork Type: OnsiteJob Type: ContractRequired Qualifications:Experience in cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, incident response, threat detection, or security investigations.Hands-on experience with one or more SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, LogRhythm, or NetWitness.Experience with EDR/XDR solutions such as Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, or SentinelOne.Experience analyzing security alerts and conducting incident investigations.Knowledge of network security, Windows, Linux, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and cloud environments.Working knowledge of KQL, SPL, Lucene, ESQL, or similar query languages.Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, IOCs/IOAs, threat intelligence, and common attack techniques.Understanding of NIST cybersecurity/incident-response practices and the PICERL lifecycle.Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Relevant certifications such as:CompTIA Security+Microsoft SC-200GCIHGCIACertified SOC Analyst (CSA)Other recognized SOC/cybersecurity certificationsExperience with vulnerability management, email security, cloud security, or SASE platforms.
