This is not remote employment.SALARY:$19.50 per hour40 hours per week Monday - FridayApproximately 4 weeks will have overnight hoursMay 18th 2026 through August 21st 2026LOCATION: City of Saratoga Springs - Department of Public SafetyMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following qualification(s) must be met and clearly detailed on the City of Saratoga Springs employment application form by the last filing date:Applicants must be at least 18 years of age AND.Possess and maintain a current and valid NYS driver's license throughout the duration of employment.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Willingness to work out of doors, occasionally under adverse weather conditions.Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 70 pound short lifts and 50 pounds repetitively.Ability to work in a highway construction environment where most of the work takes place in and around motor vehicle traffic.DUTIES: Assist Traffic Department in the installation AND maintenance of traffic pavement markings and other related traffic control devices on all city streets and parking lotsTHIS IS A CIVIL SERVICE POSITION.
