POSITION SUMMARY:The Precertification Nurse (Precert Nurse) will be assigned specific departments/services for which they will handle all precertification needs.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Graduate certificate from an accredited school of nursing, LPN or RN program, requiredCurrent MS state license, requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretionAbility to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations/timelinesAbility and desire to learn new technologiesMust be timely and dependableMust be able to multi-task, work independently and be very detail orientedMust have excellent written and oral communication skillsMust be able to complete documentation accuratelyMust be able to follow existing workflowsWORK SCHEDULE:Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
