Bankruptcy/Creditors' Rights Attorney
Kessler Collins is actively recruiting a bankruptcy/creditor’s rights attorney ready to build something meaningful. Founded fifty years ago, we are a 30‑lawyer, business‑focused firm based in the Arts District in Dallas, and we’re looking for a lawyer who doesn’t just want to service a docket – they want to grow a practice. This role is ideal for an attorney who primarily represents creditors, lenders, landlords, or other stakeholders, and who either brings existing work or is motivated to develop it. A candidate that also has a federal‑court docket along with bankruptcy experience is also acceptable.
We are not a high‑volume bankruptcy shop; and that’s by design. Instead, we offer a platform to handle sophisticated creditor‑side matters while also expanding into broader commercial litigation, restructuring, or related areas that align with your strengths.
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of experience in bankruptcy and/or creditors’ rights
Strong creditor‑side experience (lenders, landlords, secured parties, etc.)
Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building and growing a practice
Ability to work both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
Why Kessler Collins:
Real opportunity for advancement and leadership as you grow your practice
Strong internal collaboration across real estate, healthcare, and business law
Active support for business development and client expansion
Competitive compensation tied to experience, performance, and contribution
Location & flexibility:
Office location for this job is Dallas (we are in the Arts District).
Flexible remote work, with an emphasis on in‑person collaboration
If you’re looking for a firm where you can take ownership of your practice—not just manage files—we should talk.
