Litigation Legal Assistant
A Dallas law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant. This role will support up to five busy attorneys in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.ResponsibilitiesProvide litigation support to multiple attorneys in a high-volume practicePrepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and correspondenceCoordinate and file documents in state and federal courts (e-filing)Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and case filesAssist with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and court filingsCreate and format documents using Styles, Tables of Contents, and Tables of AuthoritiesCommunicate with attorneys, clients, courts, and opposing counsel as neededRequirements5+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a mid-sized or large law firmProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointExperience with state and federal e-filingStrong document formatting skills including Styles, Table of Contents, and Table of AuthoritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong proofreading, organizational, and multitasking abilitiesAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentAvailability for overtime as neededCSDAL65
