Plant Operator (Entry-Level)

No experience needed. Will be trained on the job.
Performs operational work related to daily work instructions, inspection, grading, treatment and materials. Operates the treating plant and water treatment system safely and proficiently.
Principal ResponsibilitiesOperate and control systems by prescribed operating procedures, including, but not limited to the following major systems: Boiler and pressure vessels, vacuum and condensate recovery systems, preservative mix, transfer and storage systems, hazardous and solid waste processing and storage, charge transfer tables and emergency response equipment.
Perform all duties of inspector, machine operator (2) and laborer positions as required.
Operates all aspects of creosote treating at or above target production levels.
Operates all aspects of the borate treating at or above target production levels.
Operates all aspects of the water treatment system safely and proficiently.
Operates all creosote unloading operations.
Participates and contributes to company safety program.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
