Client-focusedEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Consistently ranked as a Top WorkplaceInternal recruitment team, in-house training, and a marketing department specific to our industryWe celebrate flexibility, allowing every team and office to lead with their proven approachOur culture champions continuous learning and personal growthWe believe success comes through constant evolution and communicationWe are passionate about having fun and making money, all while creating impactPOSITION OVERVIEW: As a HSE Specialist at LJA HSE, you will be responsible for providing daily support to the HSE Fleet Safety Program, compliance, and onboarding, including company drug and alcohol programs.A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:Providing support for fleet safety policies, procedures, and guidelinesEnsuring fleet compliance with LJA standards and external requirementsConducting HSE fleet driver and drug & alcohol database auditsAssisting with maintaining safe driver training programsScheduling and follow-up on onboarding processes including assigning HSE drug & alcohol tests and running motor vehicle reportsMaintaining compliance of the LJA driver authorization process, including drug & alcohol screening and MVR reportsMaintaining database of all authorized company driversAssisting with insurance claims related to fleet incidentsAny other duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree – Occupational Safety and Health or Equivalent ExperienceHSE certification (preferred)REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:1+ years HSE experience1+ years Fleet SafetyMust be able to work independently and also as part of small multidisciplinary teamsExcellent organization skills, time management skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize workMust communicate effectively and be proactive in support of problems and solutionsMust have working knowledge of MS OfficeIDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:Understanding and comprehension of applicable state and federal DOT regulations that impact our business1+ year DOT Compliance
