Be at the forefront of technological innovation while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and streamlined processes for organizations worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and validate AI models that automate and enhance general ledger processing, financial-statement preparation (GAAP/IFRS), and audit support.Evaluate and optimize internal control frameworks to strengthen financial information reliability and support SOX or equivalent compliance.Build and assess complex accounting models for revenue recognition, lease accounting, consolidation, and tax provisioning.Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to translate intricate accounting policies into machine-readable rules and digital workflows.Lead variance, ratio, and trend analyses to benchmark organizational performance and identify material misstatements or anomalies.Author, review, and enhance technical accounting content for AI training datasets, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and regulatory alignment.Mentor team members on best practices in accounting judgment, audit evidence evaluation, and model quality assurance.Required Skills and QualificationsProven expertise in accounting with CPA (or equivalent) credentials and controller- or audit-manager-level experience.Extensive hands-on experience with financial-statement preparation, consolidations, and external audit coordination.Ability to interpret and implement complex standards (e.g., ASC 606/842, IFRS 15/16) and communicate their organizational impact.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to both numerical and narrative detail.Demonstrated track record of driving process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring timely, accurate close cycles.Experience working in cross-functional, remote teams within dynamic environments.Talent for translating complex accounting concepts into clear, actionable guidance for AI applications.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree (MAcc, MBA, or PhD) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Experience developing or training AI-driven accounting, audit, or ERP tools.Publication, thought leadership, or conference presentations on accounting technologies or evolving standards.
