Investment Banking Associate
Position DescriptionARC Group is seeking highly motivated candidates with 1–2 years of investment banking or private equity experience to join our Capital Markets team as an Investment Banking Associate. This role offers direct exposure to work closely with clients through their strategic dealmaking financial reporting requirements. Our specialists have deep knowledge of deals, sectors, and accounting matters that enables them to fully understand the challenges clients face. Responsibilities IncludeParticipate in SPAC, Pre-IPO, and Traditional IPO processes advisory engagements.Draft and review client-facing materials for delivering advice to clients for their records or inclusion in transaction advisory reports specific to key technical issues.Develop and review financial models, term sheets and other transaction documents.Research technical guidance and market practices around accounting and financial reporting issues.Provide financial services advisory to clients as required.Coordinate with auditors, legal teams, underwriters, transfer agents, and insurance brokers.Support discussions with senior client executives and management.Maintain bookkeeping, accounting, and client financial statements.Support audits and collaborate with auditors on reviews.Support due diligence documents and conduct research for valuations.Contribute to process improvements and ensure continuity across transactions.Review transaction agreements, customer and supplier contracts.Communicate potential external audit risks and considerations when applying technical accounting guidance and structuring.Collaborate closely with other internal teams for the client support. QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university;2+ years of Transaction Services experience;Experience providing accounting and financial reporting advisory services and other transaction-related services;Demonstrated understanding and application of capital markets and valuation concepts;Strong current knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles including SEC reporting, purchase accounting and transaction related issues;Strong analytical abilities;Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously;Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;Strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and common database systems;FINRA Licensed General Securities Representative (series 7) preferred.
