This position is an in-office, in-person, or hybrid role if local to South Bend, or remote if not local to South Bend. Primary Responsibilities:Conduct healthcare system analysisUse database tools to map data points from one database structure to anotherPerform data and file conversionsTest product to ensure top quality and conduct data comparisonsParticipate in training and development programs and seek to enhance database expertiseTake ownership for assigned projectsEnsure project benchmarks are met for each assigned projectParticipate in prospect interview process with Human ResourcesWork on internal R&D projectsServe as escalation point for customer assistance (HDA Support Tier II)Participate in development think groups and product designAssist in product improvements of Health Data Transformer (HDT)Serve on ad-hoc innovation teamsAssist in training and onboarding new DIS team membersRecruit at job fairs as neededRequired Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication skills both written and spokenStrong problem solving and analysis skillsAbility to analyze data stored in a variety of data formats to complete business analysisStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailKnowledge of healthcare data structures and processesExcellent time management skillsTeam playerDrive to complete project work on timeAbility to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projectsEducation & Experience:BS or MS in Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar; or equivalent experience2+ years of experience working with relational databasesExperience working in MSSQL and PostgreSQLExperience with querying and manipulating large-scale databasesOther: Willing and ready to exemplify HHIT’s core values on a daily basisResponsible for protecting data entrusted to HHIT by customers or other parties by strictly adhering to HHIT’s data security and privacy policies and procedures, as well as HIPAA, PIPEDA and all other applicable law.
