In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNCmachines to produce high-precision parts that meet strict qualitystandards. Your expertise will be vital in supporting our mission todeliver exceptional manufacturing solutions.**Responsibilities** Reviews job package in its entirety, including routing, blueprints,specifications and other documentation as appropriate to fullyunderstand the process plan, part configuration (dimensions &tolerances), material, tooling and equipment to be used to producethe end product. Builds setup per documented plan, utilizing knowledge of propersetup procedures, machining practices, material properties andtooling. Setups are built on equipment he/she has been previouslyqualified to operate, such as lathes, milling machines, and/orgrinders, both CNC and conventional. Operates production equipment utilizing knowledge of machiningpractices and safe operation techniques to produce components and/orservices that meet customer needs. Initiates changes to the setupand/or operation to optimize production efficiency. Verifies conformance of work piece to specifications usingappropriate measuring instruments. Evaluates deviations identified in the machining process todetermine the cause and initiates corrective action if appropriate.Reports all deviations identified via Process Discrepancy Report(PDR). Trains less experienced machinists in advanced machining techniquesto aid in developing a higher level of technical competence in themachinist labor force. Maintains a professional & personable relationship with superiors,peers and subordinates, being responsive to their needs as well asthose of the company. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safetyprotocols. Performs other duties or functions as requested by his/hersupervisor or other authorized Midstate Machine personnel.**Requirements** Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in amanufacturing environment. Understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint reading skills. Familiarity with Fanuc controls but not requirement will train. Ability to operate various power tools and precision measuringinstruments effectively. Mechanical knowledge with problem-solving skills is essential. Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s)
