From high-temperature tooling boards, core material or custom fabricated assemblies, expect quality, uniformity, and stability of materials with General Plastics.From the oceans depths to deep space, we shape great ideas into reality!Responsibilities:We are seeking a CNC Programmer with strong Machinist skills and the ability to utilize Mastercam.The ideal candidate has 10 years' experience in the industry, with at least 5 doing setup and 5 doing programming.We work with Haas and CMS machines and with Haas and Fanuc controls.Write programs in Mastercam for complete parts including fixture, jigs, tools, and work-aids for any setups required.Ability to operate all machines with minimal directionRun multiple CNC machines simultaneouslyAbility to edit CNC programs at the machine or with CAM programmingExperience and familiarity with 3, 4, and 5 axis machinesReview all engineering, work instructions and affiliated tooling for clarity and qualityWork well with CNC team membersExperience with set up and precision hand toolsDemonstrated ability with completing work orders and meeting stringent customer timelinesSelf-motivated with excellent time management skillsMust have experience with aerospace componentsMinimum of 5 years of experience setting up with 3, 4, and 5 axis machinesMinimum of 5 years of experience with Programming using MastercamExperienced with Haas and FanucExcellent mechanical aptitudeKnowledgeable about CNC maintenance and all equipment capabilitiesMust have a high school diploma or GEDExcellent print reading skills and interpreting GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994, or later, standard.Must be able to receive and interpret instructions and directions from supervisors and peersMust demonstrate good judgment to perform the job correctly and safelyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience machining plastics or composites strongly preferredPhysical Requirements:The physical demand for this position requires the employee to be physically capable of working in a variety of environments and weather.
