Reliability Engineer

Location: Pax River, Florida Type: Direct Hire Job #11799 Salary: $130000 - 160000 Location Type: On-Site The Reliability Engineer is responsible for evaluating and improving the reliability, maintainability, and performance of aircraft systems throughout the engineering and development lifecycle. This position performs R&M analyses, predictions, allocations, and metric calculations; identifies reliability risks and problem areas; and supports reliability growth, qualification, and testing activities. TheThe will also develop test plans, analyzes field and test data, and generates technical reports with findings and recommendations to support aircraft system reliability and program objectives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, aeronautics, or electronics 4+ years of experience as an R&M Engineer or relevant R&M experience Excellent verbal and written communications skills Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications to include Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint Ability to travel on a limited basis (< 25%) Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge in areas such as R&M modeling, risk/criticality assessment, FMEA, RCA, FRACAS, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, and other statistical methods Knowledgeable in IVHMS/BIT and Reliability Development Growth Testing Understanding of early acquisition cycle (Milestone B through Milestone C)
