Job Title: Organizational Change Management ConsultantLocation: Remote but requires occasional onsite in Oakland, CA.The CompanyHeadquartered in Oakland, California, our client is a leading nonprofit provider of comprehensive, integrated care for older adults in the East Bay. They are in an exciting period of technology transformation, having recently hired their first-ever CIO to drive a future-ready IT roadmap focused on cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data governance, and AI adoption. IT professionals will find a purpose-driven environment where technology is a key enabler of compassionate, equitable care.Compensation Expectation: $140,000 - $180,000 What You'll Do As an OCM Consultant:Serve as the change management lead for multiple concurrent IT initiatives, ensuring a consistent, structured approach to changeDevelop and execute comprehensive Prosci ADKAR®based change management plans, including stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, readiness assessments, and mitigation strategiesPartner with executive and functional sponsors to clarify change vision, build sponsorship capability, and provide ongoing coaching to reinforce effective sponsor behaviorsTranslate complex IT and system changes into clear, peoplefocused messages that support awareness, desire, and adoptionCollaborate with Communications to define key messages, communication strategies, timing, and delivery channels aligned to ADKAR milestonesPartner with Training and business stakeholders to help design a practical, rolebased training approach that supports knowledge and abilityActively support implementation activities, including facilitating change sessions, stakeholder meetings, workshops, and frontline engagementIdentify resistance risks and proactively design and implement strategies to address resistance and accelerate adoptionTrack change effectiveness and adoption metrics; provide regular status updates, insights, and recommendations to project and leadership teamsTravel to client locations throughout the East Bay as needed to support inperson change activities, leadership engagement, and frontline adoptionQualifications:You could be a great fit if you have:Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferredProsci Change Management Certification requiredDemonstrated experience applying the ADKAR® methodology in complex, multistakeholder environments5+ years of hands-on change management experience supporting IT, digital, or systems implementationsProven ability to operate at both a strategic planning level and a tactical execution levelWillingness and ability to travel locally within the East Bay as business needs requireThis client requires that a background check be completed.
