Design Intern

OverviewWe are seeking a creative, motivated Design Intern to support our marketing and creative initiatives. Thisrole is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in the Adobe Creative Suite, hands-on experience withvideo production tools, and familiarity with Canva and emerging AI-powered design tools. The intern willcollaborate closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce engaging visual content—particularly for social media and digital platforms.This position will be remote located in the DC, MD, and VA area.ResponsibilitiesAssist in the creation of visual assets for digital marketing, including social media graphics, shortform videos, presentations, and promotional materialsEdit and produce video content for social media, websites, and campaigns using industry-standard toolsDesign graphics and templates using Adobe Creative Suite and CanvaSupport social media efforts by creating on-brand visuals optimized for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute creative conceptsUtilize AI-powered design tools to enhance workflows, generate concepts, and improve efficiencyEnsure all creative assets align with brand guidelines and messagingAssist with basic motion graphics, animations, or video captions as neededManage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsRequired Skills and ExperienceCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication,Marketing, Film/Video Production, or a related fieldProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; After Effects and Premiere Pro strongly preferred)Experience with video production and editing tools, including cutting, color correction, audio syncing, and exporting for social platformsWorking knowledge of Canva for creating and adapting branded contentFamiliarity with AI design-oriented tools (e.g., generative design, AI-assisted video, image generation, or editing tools)Understanding of social media platforms and best practices for visual contentStrong attention to detail and a good eye for design, layout, and typographyAbility to take direction, accept feedback, and apply revisions efficientlyPreferred Skills And ExperienceExperience creating short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)Basic knowledge of motion graphics or animationPhotography or videography experienceFamiliarity with content scheduling or social media management toolsStrong organizational and time-management skillsPosted Salary Range: USD $20.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
