Import Coordinator (Air & Ocean) | Miami, FL | Salary up to $65,000This role is responsible for managing end-to-end import shipments, ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations, and delivering exceptional service to clients across global trade lanes.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary up to $65,000Health, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for growth within a global organizationKey ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage international import shipments via air and ocean freight from origin to final deliveryCommunicate with overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers, and clients to ensure timely shipment processingPrepare and review import documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, commercial invoices, packing lists)Track shipments and provide status updates, resolving delays or issues proactivelyEnsure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations and other government agenciesWork closely with customs brokers to facilitate clearance and deliveryVerify and process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate billing to customersMaintain accurate records in the company’s logistics systemsBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and partnersQualifications2+ years of experience in import operations within freight forwarding or logisticsStrong knowledge of air and ocean import processesFamiliarity with U.S. Customs procedures and documentation requirementsExperience working with CargoWise or similar logistics software preferredExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsStrong communication skills (written and verbal)
