Job Description
:CMA/Clinical assistant needed to assist Physician in patient treatment, planning and implementations in our orthopaedic practice. Under the supervision of the Physician, the CMA will provide quality care to our patients in accordance with standards of facility.Job Duties:· Carries out Physician orders in a timely and professional manner.· Uses facility resources effectively.· Rooms patients and preps them for physical exam.· Apply and remove cast, splints.· Assist in small surgical procedures.· Prepare injections, suture/staple removal.· Arrange all other treatment when needed.· Schedule patients for surgery.· Schedule MRI's, CT scans, Bone Scans, therapy, EMG, NCV's, etc. if no authorization is needed.· Coordinate all Home Health needs.· Answer phones, schedule appointments and retrieve phone messages from patients and address, as directed by doctor.· Order supplies, maintains stock in exams rooms.· Clean rooms and sterilize instruments.· Adhere to all policy and procedures of the practice.· Responsible for any and all other duties not listed here, at management discretion.Qualifications:· Must have current CMA certification· Excellent communication, organization and computer skills.· Detail and patient service oriented.· Bilingual preferred but not necessary.· High School Diploma.· 1+ years of experience in medical field.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $16.00 per hourCompany DescriptionBusy Orthopaedic practiceCompany DescriptionBusy Orthopaedic practice
