Join us in our commitment to excellence, innovation, and improving healthcare outcomes for all.We’reseeking aManager, Associate Relationsto be a trusted partner to leaders and a key driver of how we navigate employee relations across the organization.You’lllead complex investigations, coach managers through challenging situations, and help build the systems and practices that support a strong, accountable culture.Location: Remote(U.S. only; preference for candidates in the DMV area, as proximity to our Vienna, VA office can be helpful for periodic in-person meetings, though candidates outside this area are encouraged to apply)Salary range: $110- $115kReports To: Vice President of People & CultureTravel: Up to 10%What We Offer:Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (as low as $13.73/pay)Paid Time OffFree Virtual Care – Telemedicine401k with company matchReferral BonusesLife InsuranceMake a difference in the lives of others!We are growing and that means more opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:AssociateRelations Strategy & Case OwnershipOwn end-to-end resolution of complexassociaterelations matters, including investigations, performance issues, and terminationsIdentifypatterns across cases and proactively address root causes to reduce recurrenceServe as the primary ER advisor to Talent, HR Generalists, and the People Service CenterEnsure seamless handoffs and clarity of ownership across the People functionInvestigations & ComplianceLead thorough, impartial investigations into workplace concerns (e.g., harassment, discrimination, policy violations)Ensure documentation meets legal, regulatory, and audit standards, particularly in healthcare and multi-state environmentsPartner with Legal and Compliance on high-risk or escalated issuesManager Enablement & Capability BuildingEquip frontline and mid-level leaders to effectively manage performance, conduct, andassociateconcernsDeliver practical coaching, tools, and training to improve decision-making and reduce ER escalationsReinforce accountability for consistent people management practices across the organizationPolicy Governance & Process DisciplineInterpret and enforce HR policies with consistency and clarityDrive process standardization across ER workflows to improve speed, quality, and scalabilityContinuouslyrefinepolicies and practices to align with regulatory changes and organizational growthData, Insights & Risk MitigationTrack and analyze ER trends (case types, volume, outcomes, cycle time)Surface actionable insights to the VP, People &Cultureand senior leadersProactively recommend interventions that improve engagement, reduce turnover risk, and strengthen cultureThis list of responsibilities is not exhaustive and additional tasks may be assigned as needed.Must adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance OfficerQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related fieldrequiredHR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) strongly preferred5–8+ years of progressive HR experience with deep focus inassociate/associate relationsProven experience managing complex investigations and advising leaders through high-risk decisionsExperience supporting multi-state workforce with varying employment law requirementsExperience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, long-term care, or similar) strongly preferredDemonstrated ability tooperateeffectively without a traditional HRBP layerTrack record of influencing cross-functional stakeholders and driving consistent outcomes in fast-paced or growth environmentsSkills & Abilities:Investigations:Deep experience managing complex employee relations matters, including leading thorough, impartialinvestigationsand producing clear, defensible documentationCompliance:Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and experience supporting a multi-state workforce, with the ability to apply legal and policy guidance in practiceJudgment:Demonstratedability to assess risk, navigate ambiguity, and make well-reasoned decisions in high-stakes situationsInfluence:Proven ability to guide stakeholders at all levels, driving alignment and consistent outcomes without direct authorityCoaching:Skilled in supporting managers through performance issues, sensitive employee situations, and conflict resolution with clarity and confidenceExecution:Strong casemanagement skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and delivertimely, high-quality outcomesAnalytics:Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends,identifyroot causes, and proactively recommend solutions to reduce riskClarest Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
