Help us provide our guests with amazing service and "fresh, healthy, delectable homemade foods" that will guarantee return guest visits! Server Position Summary Berry Fresh Cafe’s servers ensure all guests are provided with exceptional prompt service. The server describes menu items, assists in making food and drink selections, takes orders, delivers food and beverages, and assists fellow team members to ensure overall guest satisfaction at Berry Fresh Café! Responsibilities Greets and welcomes guests, inviting them back as they leave. Helps guests select food and beverages by presenting menu, suggesting courses, explaining the chef's specials, answering food preparation questions. Transmits orders to kitchen by recording guests' choices, identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests. Responds to additional guest requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process and is responsive at all times. Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs. Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation, safety policies. Qualifications Minimum 2+ years serving experience in full‑service restaurant. Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive; excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work positively in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to work effectively within a team. Basic math skills. Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed. Continuous use of hands and arms, bending, reaching and twisting. Dependable, reliable means of transportation. Reliable and flexible with work schedule—weekends, holidays. Able to take direction; needs multi‑tasking and organizational skills.
