Position: Maintenance Worker
Overview: Maintenance staff is responsible for the general upkeep of castle buildings, grounds and equipment to provide safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for staff and guests alike. They provide an essential role in keeping the property in working order for all departments via, general maintenance, repairs, and improvements property-wide.
Supervision: Reports to the Maintenance Manager
List of Duties:
Performing general maintenance tasks for the property, such as window washing, drywall repair, plastering, carpentry, flooring repair, painting and more
Detecting, identifying and repairing building issues, like basic problems with the building's electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems
Responding efficiently to maintenance requests and coordinating with various departments to schedule repairs
Routinely check maintenance inventory, clean and organized
Protect equipment and make sure that everything is in good working order
Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices/requirements
Maintain a high level of performance with little supervision
Provide friendly, customer-oriented assistance when interacting with guests
Prioritize and manage time effectively
Work quickly without compromising quality
Will require weekends and some on call shifts

This is a highly physical role. While performing these job duties, this candidate is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand for long periods of time (e.g., up to 8 hours or longer). The candidate is required to use dominant hand coordination for simple grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine manipulation. The employee is also required to lift and carry up to over 50 pounds, bend, squat, kneel, and reach above shoulder level. The employee may be exposed to extreme temperatures, dust, dampness, moving machinery, food allergens, and cleaning agents.
