As a social media content intern, you will work under and alongside the director and design team on a variety of projects related to the curation and digital content of SAB MAG’s socials. This is an unpaid remote position requiring about 10-15 hours a week that can be used for credit, with commission opportunities and artist funding. Responsibilities include:Participating in weekly online meetings with the design team and/or social media director, contributing to the conceptualization and development of social media concepts and campaignsConducting background research and creating mood boards for projects/campaignsDesigning and generating refined, completed content for the posting on various platformsVideo editing for social media platforms, primarily short form contentAssistance with brand collaboration Qualifications:A resume/CV and portfolio of your workDemonstrated creative ability and knowledge of design principlesExperience in social media management and/or marketingTechnical abilities in Adobe SuiteVideo editing ability for short form contentStrong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas<EDITORIAL INTERN DESCRIPTION>As an editorial intern, you will work under and alongside the director and editorial team on a variety of projects related to the editorial content of both the print issue and online content. We are seeking highly creative and motivated individuals with strong writing skills and editorial experience. This is an unpaid remote position requiring about 10-15 hours a week that can be used for credit, with opportunities of commission and artist funding.Responsibilities include:Participating in weekly online meetings with the editorial team and/or managing editor, taking part in the brainstorming, planning, and drafting processesConducting background research and creating outlines for projectsFacilitating, transcribing, and editing artist interviewsAssistance in reviewing academic journal entriesThe opportunity for your own writing to be published within SAB MAG, both online and in printAny other allocated tasks set forth by the editorial supervisorsQualifications:A resume/CV and 2-3 writing samples of your choosingKnowledge in style formatting (i.e. AP, APA, Chicago manual)Writing and comprehension skills, tailored towards editorial and publishingStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas<BRAND AND PAGE DESIGN INTERN DESCRIPTION>As a brand and page design intern, you will work under and alongside the director and design team on a variety of projects, including page and layout design of our print issue as well as general brand identity. We are seeking highly creative and motivated individuals with design skills and experience. This is an unpaid remote position requiring about 10-15 hours a week that can be used for credit, with commission opportunities and artist funding.Responsibilities include:Participating in weekly online meetings with the design team, supporting the implementation of brand identity concepts and layout draftsConducting background research and creating mood boards for projects/campaignsContributing to the brand identity and marketing of SAB MAGAssistance with final page layouts and design for the print issue releaseQualifications:A resume/CV and portfolio of your workDemonstrated creative ability and knowledge of design principlesExperience in brand design/editorial designTechnical abilities in Adobe SuiteStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
