Bin 54 Steak and Cellar, voted a top 100 steakhouse in thecountry is currently accepting resumes for the Sous Chef position.We are looking for an experienced sous chef towork directly under the executive chef and to be responsible for leading and distributingthe tasks of the daily operations in our kitchen. We want you to use yourculinary experience and managerial skills in order to co-lead and run asuccessful kitchen and thus ultimately maintaining and enhancing our guests'satisfaction. You should have a passion for service and you're a positive andcommitted team player who also can take a leadership role and coach the rest ofthe kitchen team to achieving a higher level of success. You are a talented andcreative chef that is passionate about creating sensational meals. We also seethat you feel comfortable in fast-paced situations where you can prioritize andsee solutions where others see problems, and you are willing to contribute yourexperience to our already highly skilled team.RESPONSIBILITIES:*Make sure the kitchen is running smoothly bysupervising and motivating the other kitchen staff*All food preparation meets our qualitystandards*Assist the executive chef in planning andcreating food when necessary*Maintain a positive and professional approachREQUIREMENTS:*Previous experience as a Sous chef*Knowledge of various cooking methods*Excellent leadership and organizational skills*Ability to keep calm under stressful situations
