Scheduling And Logistics TechnicianThe Scheduling And Logistics Technician is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing customer orders while maintaining customer web portals and supporting plant production scheduling activities. This role serves as a key point of contact for scheduling, logistics, purchasing coordination, and customer communication to help ensure smooth daily operations.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, review, and process incoming customer orders through email and customer web portalsMaintain and utilize multiple OEM customer web portals within a team-based environmentCoordinate with Plant Managers and production personnel to schedule and prioritize customer ordersWork closely with Shipping and Quality departments to support customer carrier requirements and logistics changesCoordinate purchasing activities for manufacturing materials, including:Raw materialsProduction suppliesOffice suppliesJanitorial productsOther facility consumablesAssist with accounts receivable processing and follow up with customers regarding past due balancesSupport communication between internal departments, suppliers, carriers, and customers to maintain production flow and delivery schedulesAssist with schedule adjustments and changing customer demands as neededAdditional ResponsibilitiesAnswer incoming phone calls and greet visitorsProvide administrative and operational support across departments as neededAssist with various plant and office support functionsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience working with OEM customer web portals requiredDirect experience with Ford Motor Company web portals strongly preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to learn and navigate multiple customer systems and web portalsPrior experience with raw material purchasing is a plusRequired SkillsProficient with Microsoft Office applicationsStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong follow-through skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentStrong customer service and problem-solving skills$26.00-32.00/hr + OTEOE (including Disability/Veterans)
