Position Summary
The Estimator / Sales Executive is responsible for identifying project opportunities, building customer relationships, and preparing detailed cost estimates and proposals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical sales environment and is looking to grow within a dynamic and innovative company.
Key Responsibilities
Identify new project opportunities and analyze bid specifications
Develop and deliver accurate, competitive proposals using internal pricing tools
Interpret technical drawings and translate them into precise cost estimates
Collaborate with customers, engineers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
Refine project scopes, assist with budgeting, and support contract negotiations
Ensure seamless communication across departments by distributing relevant project information
Track multiple estimates, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating and proposal processes
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in fabrication or marine structures
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and bid documents
Knowledge of structural aluminum and floating structures is highly preferred
Experience in contract negotiation and client-facing sales interactions
Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and estimating documentation tools
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail
