Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work day shift schedule in emergency department setting • May work at second Emergency Department location within Janesville • Active Wisconsin RN license required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS • Education verification and flu vaccination required • Utilize nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members • Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques and policies • Perform patient assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care • Document according to standards of care • Develop and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physician • Provide patient and family instruction • Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance • Utilize clinical expertise to guide other units and departments • Apply critical thinking for patient safety and experience • Participate in professional nursing continuum process and peer review Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a hospital and trauma center providing comprehensive emergency medical services to the community.
