Job DescriptionA growing Civil-Site & Utilities contractor is seeking experienced Pipe Foremen to support multiple ongoing and upcoming projects. Work includes site development, excavation, and underground utilities such as water mains, sewer, and storm drainage across active construction projects.This organization is focused on building a team of motivated, respected professionals and offers long-term opportunities with steady project backlog.Position Overview The Pipe Foreman is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing daily field operations while working alongside the crew. This individual will lead utility installation efforts, ensure safety compliance, and drive production to meet project goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead crews installing water mains (ductile iron & PVC), gravity sewer, storm drainage, and duct banksPlan, schedule, and execute daily work activitiesRead and interpret plans, blueprints, and survey layoutsShoot and set grade elevationsOperate heavy equipment as needed (excavator, dozer, loader, etc.)Coordinate subcontractors and oversee site operationsMaintain a safe job site and enforce safety standardsCommunicate effectively with crews and project managementQualifications8-10+ years of civil construction experience (utilities/site work preferred)Strong background in water, sewer, and storm system installationProven leadership and crew management skillsAbility to read plans, perform layout, and calculate grades/quantitiesExperience operating heavy equipmentValid driver's license required (CDL preferred)High school diploma or GED preferredWhat We're Looking ForHands-on leader who leads by exampleStrong work ethic and "do whatever it takes" attitudeSelf-motivated and solutions-orientedWilling to jump in and support the crew as neededCommitted to continuous improvementPreferred ExperienceConcrete and asphalt pavingFull site development: clearing, grading, excavation, and roadwork
