Texas (TX)Please note: We do not support employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa).What You'll DoAs a Site Reliability Engineer at EWN, you will:Design and operate highly reliable, scalable, observable, and secure platform services, including public APIs, integrations, and data pipelinesPartner with Principal Engineers during system design and implementation to ensure reliability, fault tolerance, performance, security, and operational readiness are built into platform solutions from the startDefine, implement, and monitor service-level indicators (SLIs), service-level objectives (SLOs), and error budgetsContribute production-quality code to platform services, shared libraries, and tooling to improve reliability, performance, observability, and operational safetyDesign and maintain observability solutions, including monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and service health dashboardsProactively identify and mitigate reliability risks through capacity planning, load testing, and resilience testingLead incident response efforts, including coordination, communication, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviewsCollaborate with DevOps Engineers to support infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines and serve as an operational backup when neededParticipate in on-call rotations and respond to service degradation or outages affecting externally consumed servicesDrive continuous improvement in reliability, performance, and operational processesWhat You'll BringRequired Skills & ExperienceAt least 7 years of professional experience operating, supporting, or engineering production software systemsDemonstrated experience improving reliability, availability, performance, or scalability of production systemsStrong experience diagnosing and resolving complex production issues in distributed or service-oriented systemsExperience writing and maintaining production-quality code for automation, tooling, or servicesSolid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, incident management)Experience with distributed systems, API-driven platforms, and service-oriented architecturesStrong debugging, documentation, and operational problem-solving skillsAbility to operate effectively during incidents and high-pressure situationsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearlyPreferred Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience supporting externally consumed services such as public APIs, integrations, or data delivery systemsExperience designing or implementing observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting)Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or similar)Experience with containerized or cloud-native architecturesExperience improving CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, or operational automationExperience
