Process Engineering Manager
Overview
In this role you lead process engineering and maintenance in a high-precision aerospace environment, driving efficient, scalable production of aluminum vacuum brazed heat exchangers and cold plates. You’ll partner with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to enable seamless NPI, reliability, and continuous improvement. You will shape process controls, equipment uptime, and lean initiatives to meet stringent aerospace standards. This is a chance to influence product quality and manufacturing capability in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting.

ResponsibilitiesLead process optimization for aluminum vacuum brazed heat exchangers and cold platesDrive NPI with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, quality manufacturingCollaborate with Quality to ensure AS9100 compliance and process reliabilityDirect maintenance planning and execution; improve OEE using FIXX and reliability toolsFoster continuous improvement through lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven KPIsEngage with Design Engineering, Production, Quality, and Safety to align designs with capabilitiesMentor the Process Engineering team; develop training on new processes and equipmentEnsure safety and regulatory compliance with OSHA and global EHS standards
Key requirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or related field5+ years in process engineering in aerospace/defense/high-reliability manufacturing5+ years CNC programming experience3+ years brazing and assembly experience in manufacturingExperience managing engineering and maintenance teamsExperience in aluminum vacuum brazing, machining, and thermal management manufacturingKnowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologiesleadershipstrong communicationcross-functional collaborationCNC programmingbrazing and assembly processesaluminum vacuum brazing
